My wife and I finally decided to get out and eat at Chi;is restaurant in Shelby twp. mi. after months of staying away due to the covid concerns. there were several signs posted saying you must wear a face mask.. While we were there eating dinner I observed at least 7 people entering the restaurant not wearing a mask and they we seated with out them.
I am 83 years old and am told I am at risk due to my advanced age. I asked the manager why they were letting these people walk in and be seated without wearing masks.. His answer was it was cororate policy.. IF THAT IS CHILIS CORPORATE POLICY, I CHOOSE TO NEVER GO TO ANY CHILIS RESTURANT AGAIN AS WELL AS MY FAMILY.. SO SAD.
I have no complaint about the food or service, both were great! I did receive an email for a free kids meal on President's Day and for each kids meal with an adult purchase. We did purchased two adults meals and two kids meals and could only use one redemption? I asked the server and she stated that you can only use one coupon per table, so why does it state right on the promotion that you receive a free meal with each adult purchase?
We waited an hour....they forgot to put our order in. He made an excuse they were slammed. Restaurant was not busy and everyone was being served but us. He didn’t even cut us a break. Won’t go back to that one. We ended up taking our food with us since we have a life.
I had the worst experience. #1 complaint is my food was given to another customer .. #2 then the man brought back the food ,and they asked me.if i would except his food . And i asked to have our order remade as the man walked a half mile with my food.. #3 the manager was very rude to both of us #4 waited over a half hour for 2 meals #5 got back to my hotel room and no honeymustard #6 this food taste like they reheated the food that was brought back .. #7 mentioned i was going to call corporate and he laughed in my face and said he will be waiting .. so disappointed....not fare at all my appetite ruined .. oh and the last thing the meal was supposed to be 27plus tax they charged the card $33.
My rating is about the bar area. I sat a the BAR and Witness Employee constanly bending over" getting Ice and Glasses to serve Us, the customers. Its sad the design of this AREA. I MEAN this area Serve 90% of the customers and Its Fuckup. I mean it should be design better. The set up is TERRIBLE. ALL THE UNUSED SPACE SHOULD BE DESIGN BETTER. THERE SHOULD BE A ICE MACHINE ABD A BETTER SET UP FOR GLASSES. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE EMPLOYEES HERE AT THIS PLACE. I JUST WISH I COULD DESIGN IT FOR YOU. BLOCK OFF THE TAKE IUT SECTION ABD MAKE THE BAR AREA FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER. CARE ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM HAPPY
Twice now I Ben there and still cant cook a burger well done I will not be back ever
Me and my husband come every friday to Chilies at South Park in San Antonio and spend $100 to $150 and we have notice service has been at it worse by not having things in the menu and running out of CO2 for sodas we came to a waiter by the name of Marco he was very rude when we came to our table and insisted for us to leave the table when the host told us to sit if a table was free so we did and he clearly told me that i had to leave the table so i ask for a manager and she came with attitude her self and i told her what had happen and what happen last week were my husband ask for a corn on the cub and it was still frozen and he made the water tough it and he said sorry but came back with another one the same way so it not the first time so i had to ask for the manager she just made excuse after excuses so i told her that it was not the first time every week it something and she was trying to make excuses for everything i was telling her she was even laughing about it so i told her to give me corporate office number and she didn't come back so she told him to just leave our table and walked away this was on called for i though she was to correct the problem but she had a problem herself we have been coming here for years but i guess we will taking our night out some were else were we don't get bad service maybe with time thing get better but for now we will be going else were.
Just went the Chili’s in the plaza in Briar Creek. Walked in and were ignored. Had me granddaughter (8 years old). The host was rude and more interested in what was on his phone than seating anyone. There was two groups in front of us, one of the two groups left. I counted only 7 tables with people at them and seven servers. A simple we are short servers or some type of explanation would have been nice but nothing. Really disappointed!!! I have been to many Chili’s and never had that type of experience. Zero stars for the experience. Five stars for the host lack of giving a crap about the customers.
No stars would be best. Waited over 10 minutes past the time the pick up order was supposed to be ready. Both burgers cooked incorrectly. Patties looked like they sat for awhile. Bacon burger missing the bacon. Missing condiments ordered. Dog ended up with the burger patties they were that bad. Sent a message to chili’s with it stating I would receive a response within 48 hours. 72 hours now and no response. $40 for a dog to get 2 hamburger patties and the humans to get fries and salad. Should have tried Applebee’s instead.
We visited Chili's on Monday evening in Thomaston,Ga. It's our biweekly gatherings place, usually having an average tab of $75-160. We ordered food as usual and then drinks. We ordered 3 shot of Jack Daniels. We they arrived to the table we questioned the size of the shots because they barely covered the bottom of the glass. At the time, someone behind the bar made the drinks which was not our original bartender. We asked Laura our waitress to get the manager. To find out the manager poured up the shots. We thought she was a customer because she was socializing with the gentlemen at the bar and was not in a uniform. So when asked to Laura who she was and was she even on the clock, she stated that she was the manager. I stated Wow! Because she has been hugging and talking to the deer hunters that have been here for about an hour. Nevertheless, she came to the table and explained that it is an ounce for a shot and it was "correct. A minute later our bartender that was serving us all night came with 3 additional shots. I ask was this to compensate for the inaccurate shots and they said NO. They was no communication between the manager and the bartender and both of them filled the same drink order. So when the bartender brought the 3 shots that she poured to the table, the were more in the glass than what the manager poured. When I addressed the issued, they told me that if I were ever given more then they liquor is not been measured properly. So they took the second round of shots back. So the group decided not to even except the first shots. Our bill that night was $82. A good manager would have made this situation correct instead of pouring up 6 shots not serving them. With our monthly tab averaging $300 & we are regulars. I find this unacceptable. When we arrived at Chili's they know us by name and ask do we want our usual. We have even bring a new drink, the "dead turtle" that we have introduced to Chili's Thomaston,Ga so when they order that the employees know that we sent them and we support our local Chili's.
