Family mobile is very unreasonable when it comes to defective phones. I purchased a phone that would heat quickly from the time I received it. After five days when the phone reached at heat that concerned me I called to try to get a replacement phone. They told me I would have to receive a box to return the defective phone then wait for up to 15 days before they would send the replacement phone. Really? I chatted and talked with at least 6 different people. Each time I asked if they could not just send both items to Walmart where I could pick it up and provide a tracking number so that they would know I had returned it they told me they were transferring me to a supervisor at which point the phone conveniently hung up so I had to start the process again. After this happening three consecutive times I decided to write a review here. I have paid for this item but it's defective so why is this so difficult? Let me add that my phone started having more problems such as network disconnections afterward. I guess the news needs a good story. I give them a 1 star because they said it had to have a rating.

On august 2nd my husband upgraded his cell phone at Walmart he bought the extended warranty, it went out on November 21st he took it back to Walmart they said he had to send it to family mobile he did it is now December 22nd we finally received a phone, after talking to several people on the phone they said our number was gone and we could not get it back we are in our seventy's we have had this number for years family and friends all have that number why can we not have our old number back. WE are not the ones who screwed up also what if he had a heart attack while doing with out a phone?
