HEB spends hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to convince us the public that there is something special and unique about the shopping experience hence their catchphrase my H-E-B. My H-E-B, what a comforting and cheerful heart; not true let me tell you about my H-E-B doing the coronavirus pandemic. Armed guards at the stores, people following you around as if you were a criminal, Observing you movements and what you come into contact with, and a stupid policy of forcing their customers to wear a face mask after our governor has said that we do not have to. Plexiglass shields around all the cash registers so now we have no social interaction with the employees of HEB- hell I might as well be placing my order online if I don’t want any human interaction at all. Rude and stressed out employees, that are being obviously forced to be there. The service stinks, the employees are rude, the prices are rising exponentially and the one that suffers is the customer. HEB has become too big with no competition to keep them working and earning your business; conversations with management level people is a complete waist of time; they judge you from the paradigm of “ how dare you complain about a sacred Texas business”. I hope people wake up and decide that there are other places to shop, where businesses are happy and feel blessed for your business; HEB does not honor your efforts to support there business- on the contrary, they expect your business.
