A wonderful location to work if you want to advance competitively is Circle K. If you’re ready to put in the minimum amount of labor for no compensation, there’s always room for advancement. I advanced to become the store manager. Simply learning was my favorite thing to do. I enjoy challenges and discovering new things. I had the good fortune to work with management who encouraged my curiosity. Anything below the Store Manager is pretty much as near to minimum wage as possible, therefore I never worried too much about the salary (even assistant and bonus assistant manager). I didn’t care because I was young; all I wanted was experience. I had a good time with my coworkers as well. Working there allowed me to make a few lifelong friends, and I’m glad I met them through Circle K.
