I have been eating in Outback's for many, many years! I have come to the conclusion that this restaurant has fallen to a horrible level. I had a $40 dinner and left the restaurant HUNGRY. The steak was tiny/the lobster tail was tinier/the sweet potato was unbelievably smaller in size than the steak! The salads, which I have always loved...well, as horribly a small portion as was the rest of the meal!!!! What is happening? The prices have gone up and the portions have gotten disgustingly smaller. I plan to take this restaurant off the list of places to eat with my group of friends! Just thought that this info should have been shared. Of course, I will not make a difference in this restaurants business...but, if I continue to blast the situation on Facebook, amid other sites...maybe the portions will get bigger or the prices will go down. Horrible situation from where I sit!
Last week I visited the Outback in Flowood, its was my 25th birthday and all I wanted was Outback to eat nothing major. Everything was pretty much fine until after we received our drinks from the bar. We asked for a Double Patron Margarita with Grand Mariner. We received the drinks and being in customer service and being a bartender/ manager the drinks were far from what we asked. The alcoholic beverage tasted as if it was all sweet and sour (bar mix) . I could not taste a drop of alcohol. So once the waiter (whom was nice) came back I explained to him that we know working at a restaurant drinks are made a certain way which is why we asked for a double Patron. I then told him we know it was not his fault and that we would explain to the manager our problem. The manager Chris ( very rudely) with a Nasty attitude comes over with 2 cups with alcohol in and says “here your extra shots” my sister then tried to proceed in explaining it’s not about the alcohol at this point. He cuts her off and rudely ask y’all need anything else. We both say no because obviously he did not care. My problem is he did not come to the table first to actually see what the problem was he just took it upon his self to throw some Alcohol in a glass and throw it on our table. As if that was going to help! One his attitude ruined my birthday dinner , the two drinks were already watered down by the wait on the manager. I’m not sure if it’s Outback standards but coming from someone who works in customer service I do believe that could have been handled differently by the RUDE manager Chris! NOT SURE IF I WILL EVER BE BACK TO OUTBACK EVER!!! Sincerely one dissatisfied ex customer!!
Two weeks ago i ordered from this location and got a whole rack of ribs and when i got home i got a half and no side. i called up and spoke to the famale manager i think her name was liz. she said she was sending something out to my address Never recieved anything. Im sure she wasnt even taking down my address but wte,.Tonight 1/25/20 i called to make a pick up order and was hung up on five times after being transfered to the people who take the orders. i called back again and ask to speak to a manager and they left me on hold for 7 min and then picked up the phone and hung up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We love eating at outback but i refuse to deal with this kind of behavor. i suggust talking to your staff. just because they dont want to take an order.
My husband and I did takeout and recieved horrible service. Were told wed get a refund and gift card.that wad on November 22 2019
The entire night was terrible. First our salads had rotten cucumbers on them and we asked our waitress to replace them with a side because we had already been there 35 minutes. She brought me a soup but no spoon. When she finally brought a spoon it was dirty so I asked for a plastic one. The server then got nasty and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager (a new lady) never came to the table. When our steaks came to the table they were over cooked, And we didn’t get our sides. I work for a restaurant and I know how difficult it can be but they were having a very bad night. To top it off the waitress spilled a drink on me and the manager came over until they cleaned it and I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes. I preceded to tell her my issues and she said, “what do you want me to do about it?” I looked at her and said nothing but we won’t be back.
Dont get it to go unless you want to go bavk when you get home happens often..mo let me correct that..all the time ...
I was there in the 10th the hostess didnt seat us propperly 6 top for 7 very crowded then waitress was rude and after complaints to manager who was nice didnt help the fact we was there 2 and half hours for a dinner should have take 1 and half very poorly managed and the worse experience ever

No Star Rating. Horrible experience ranging from Server and Manager incompetence, to wrong orders, to improperly cooked food, to bland/tasteless food. Prime Rib was not Prime Rib but resembled an Ultra Lean Thick Oval Sirloin Steak. It was definitely not the normal tender, soft meat with edges of fat and tail meat. Horrible experience. Okay, yes we got through to Manager and he did comp meal ($242) BUTTTT you can't get the bad taste out of your mouth. Stay away
