I purchased a bed frame from Ashley Furniture on June 12, was supposed to be my birthday present. When I went to the store to purchase the item i specifically told the sales rep that I wanted the bed frame I with the footboard with storage. He assured me that it would be. I paid for the item and looked at the invoice and noticed that the item code did not look right for the bed frame with storage. I mentioned that to the sales rep. He assured me not only once but twice what it would be the bed frame with storage. The bed frame was supposed to be delivered on July 22. On July 21 I called Ashley Furniture to see what time they would be here. After trying for almost 2 hours I finally got hold of someone. I was told that the bed frame would be delivered on July 28 not July 22. There was an issue and they had to rescheduled. I never got a call stating that it would be rescheduled to July 28. When the bed frame finally got to the house I told the gentleman that it was the wrong footboard. I had ordered the footboard with storage. I was told to call customer service and it would be switched out. I called customer service and after a 1 hour and 30 minutes I finally used the instant messenger application on the website, because I could not get through to customer service via phone. I received a call the next day from the store that I bought the bed frame from and was told that I could switch the footboard out for the footboard with storage for an extra $220.00. I explained the situation and how the sales rep assured me I was getting the footboard with storage. I was told there was nothing that could be done and that to get the footboard with storage it would cost $220.00. I believe this is completely outrageous since I asked several times to ensure I was getting what I wanted, so I told them to come get the bed and I wanted a full refund. I have never posted a review, but I believe that what happened was completely wrong and wanted others to be aware. If you think the item codes on your invoice is wrong always double check and if the sales representative does not take you seriously, as in my case, ask for management.

World wide service!!! For taking money - yes, for doing job - NO! We made our purchase in the beginning of MAY and our order will be delivered PROBABLY in the end of AUGUST! I assume they cannot manage and utilize even a centralized Inventory system?! Yep... World Wide business!

Never deal with these people they will take your money and lie to you about delivery and no call backs from anyone and they don't answer their phone and after waiting over 5 minutes auto disconnect on their end. I was promised delivery in 3 weeks from purchase now after 6 weeks I got a text that it will be another month. I cancelled my credit card payment and file a compliant about them to my credit card company. I guess I will have to physically go to the store and cancel it in person.

Woeful customer service. I bought a product and it turned out to be incredibly disappointing. Their call center was always busy, and after 15 minutes they kick you off the line. They never returned calls, emails, or their customer support form. Absolutely terrible company. Never purchase anything from them.

I made an online purchase in May for a bed, mattress, box spring, and a mattress pad. The items were supposed to be delivered at the end of May. It was rescheduled by Ashely to June. Then rescheduled again to July due to back order. I then received a call (voicemail) that the delivery date in July was rescheduled to August due to COVID. Then last week I received another call (voicemail again) that the furniture would be delivered Saturday, July 25 between 5:30 - 8:30. Again, another voicemail to inform me that the mattress pad would be scheduled for pickup because it was unavailable and the bed and rest of the pieces would be delivered on Saturday as previously stated. I waited for the deliver on Saturday and never received a call or the furniture. Today I called Ashely and have been informed that the furniture was placed as a pickup. How would I have known that? And who told Ashley to do that? Now to try to reconcile this, I am being told that I have to speak to the online order department via email and it could take a minimum of 24 hours to receive a callback or email.



Seriously????? Is this good business?

Not getting my order

My wife and I purchased over $10,000.00 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture on 11/24/2019. The purchase consisted of 2 bedroom sets and a living room set. They promised to deliver it in 2 deliveries. Ashley did not show up 3 times for deliveries. They did not even bother to call us. I had to make the 35 minute drive to the store in Katy, TX three different times. One of the bedroom night stands we had to talked them into giving us the one off of the showroom floor. Finally in January we received everything except the remaining night stand. They promised that we would receive the night stand before January 29th. We never received the night stand or a phone call. When we called Ashley Furniture back, the manager who returned our call was not very helpful and did not seem to care whether we received the night stand or not. She told us we had to wait until March 13th to get the night stand. Keep in mind that when we purchased this bedroom set it was in stock at that time. They sold it out from under us. Her other solution was for us to pick out a night stand that did not match the bedroom set or the other matching night stand.
We have been long time customers, but unless this is taken care of we will never be back.
