When I first visited this Jack in the Box, the register was empty. The young man taking orders noticed me standing there and smiled kindly, saying, “We’ll be right with you, ma’am.” When he had completed preparing his order, he came to the counter and greeted me with a warm smile. When I replied that my day was going well, he said, “Well, let’s see if we can’t make it even better.” He then politely excused himself and turned to leave, and in four seconds, a second young man was working the register.
