Infiniti is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Nissan. Infiniti officially started selling vehicles on November 8, 1989, in North America.
The marketing strategy was to target the premium vehicle segments in the United States that would not have otherwise fit in with Nissan’s more mainstream image, and partially influenced by the Plaza Accord of 1985.

Bought a preowned qx60 car started to smoke when starting, took it in after a barrage of lies they said oh it’s sludge in oil lack of maintenance, sorry slam the door in my face . Service manager said they were taking pics. And sending them in which was bs they never showed me proof . Now researching my self all signs point to worn piston seals or worn valve guides . When I tried calling infinity to complain they said sorry . Always used synthetic oil in this car which anyone that knows cars is highly unlikely to sludge . All I wanted them to do was give me an honest diagnosis as to why car is smoking and they didn’t do that . Shame on these crooks . Go online and you’ll see all the same stories I’m going through with infinity and Nissan cars .
